OBJECTIFS
GOALS
Former des designer d'espaces opérationnels. En compléments et à la suite d'études dans le domaine de l'espace telles que, bachelor, DnMade, Écoles d'architecture., de paysage ou de design… le Mastère « studio design » propose une formation afin de rendre opérationnels les futurs acteurs du design d'espace. Les enseignements dispensés seront théoriques mais aussi pratiques, ce qui est une spécificité. L'objectif est d'allier une parfaite capacité à concevoir, à projeter mais aussi à connaître la réalité du chantier du « faire ». Cet « alliage » est comparable à l'objectif recherché dans les CNAM.
To train designers of operational spaces. Un enseignement théorique artistique est dispensé comme le fil rouge de la formation au cours des 4 seméstres : Expression Plastique Fondamentale, sémiologie, histoire de l'art, représentation numérique… L'enseignement général est articulé autour du concept central de la formation : faire projet. Il est dispensé sous la forme d'un contingent d'heures réparties dès le début du projet. « faire ses gammes » Le S1 est consacré à une mise à niveau dans les domaines techniques : représentation conventionnelle, techniques du bâtiment, droit de la construction et urbanisme… Il est l'occasion de rappels dans les enseignements généraux. « le studio Do IT Yourself» Le S2 voit le début du Mastère à proprement parler. Afin de parvenir à un enseignement à la fois théorique et pratique et à faire vivre une transversalité, un projet long est mis en place sur les 3 semestres. Il s'agit de concevoir et de réaliser un projet d’intérêt public à but non lucratif ou d'un particulier acceptant les contraintes liées à la formation. A la manière de ce que fait « Rural Studio » aux USA à l'université d'Auburn (http://www.ruralstudio.org/) depuis 1993, les étudiants sont de véritables acteurs de leur formation : ils réalisent un projet qui est aussi leur projet de formation.
A theoretical artistic teaching will be the governing principle of the course throughout the 4 semesters: fundamental plastic expression, semiology, art history, digital representation. The generic teaching is articulated around the central concept of this course: the “do project”. It consists of a quota of hours distributed from the beginning of the project. “Practice one’s scales”. The first semester is dedicated to a technical upgrade: conventional representation, building industry techniques, construction and urbanism laws… It is an opportunity to get you up to date on general subjects. “Do it yourself studio”: the second semester is the real beginning of the Master’s degree. In order to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge and to allow interdisciplinarity, the student will realize a long-time project during the last three semesters. The aim is to conceive and carry out a non-profit project of public interest or of a private individual who agrees with the constraints of our course. In the style of what “Rural Studio” has been offering at Auburn University in the United States (http://www.ruralstudio.org/), our students are real actors of their teaching: the project they carry out is also their teaching project.

INTERNSHIPS
Soit 10 à 14 semaines de stage durant la 1ère année et 8 semaines de stage durant la 2ème année. La diversité des entreprises dans les domaines du design d’espace sera imposée sur les deux années afin de couvrir tous les champs d’application de la formation. L’étudiant démarchera lui même les entreprises afin d’acquérir l’autonomie indispensable d’une future insertion professionnelle.
During the training: 10 to 14 weeks of internship in the 1st year and 8 weeks of internship in the 2nd year. The diversity of companies in the areas of spatial design will be imposed over both years in order to cover all the fields of application of the training. The student will approach the companies himself in order to acquire the necessary autonomy for future professional integration.

L’étudiant diplômé pourra prétendre gérer un projet créatif de la conception à la réalisation. Il sera également capable d’organiser le chantier avec la gestion, la planification de l’ensemble des sous-traitants et partenaires liés à ce dernier. Il pourra facilement s’intégrer dans une agence ou une structure dans le domaine de l’architecture d’intérieure, du design d’espace, de l’architecture. De même, il sera capable de monter sa propre structure pour évoluer en tant qu’indépendant ou trouver un poste de direction artistique junior.
The graduated student will be eligible to manage a creative project from conception to completion. He/she will also be able to organize the setting up of the project, including the management and the planning of all subcontractors and partners. He/she will be able to easily fit in an agency or a structure in the field of interior design, spatial design and architecture. He/she will be able to create his/her own structure to evolve as a freelancer or to find a junior Art Director position.
CONDIDITIONS D'ACCES
ACCESS CONDITIONS
Étudiants ou personnes disposant d'un niveau d'étude Bac+3 avec possibilité de VAE. Il est impératif que les candidats aient déjà une expérience ou formation dans le domaine du projet dans le domaine de l'espace, des aptitudes en arts plastiques ainsi qu'une bonne connaissance de l'histoire de l'art. Par exemple : étudiant en licence 3 architecture ou paysage, licence 2 même parcours sur VAE, bachelor ou DnMad Espace… Les dossiers sont à remettre au plus tard le 01 avril 2019. L’épreuve en temps limité et les oraux se déroulent le 12 avril 2019.
All students with at least a three-year Higher Education diploma (including accreditation of prior experiential learning). The students must have received teaching or have an experience in the field of spatial design, skills in plastic arts and a good knowledge of art history. For example: student in third year of school of architecture or landscaping or second year + APEL, or bachelor or DN MADE in Spatial design… Applications must be submitted no later than March each year. The test in limited time and the orals take place in April.
